Analytics: see when your guests open the menu

In short: menuQR counts how often your menu is opened, how many guests are behind those views, how long they read — and splits that by weekday and hour. The numbers belong to the individual menu, not to the account: you can see whether the wine list gets read and the lunch menu does not. It runs without cookies and without user profiles; you learn how many guests and when, not who.

Weekday and hour: staffing

The interesting number is the distribution. If views peak between noon and 2 pm, the table tent works; if they stay low while the house is full, look at size, contrast and placement — three dials you can change in minutes. If Friday evening views are double Tuesday's, you staff for it.

The distribution is computed server-side for the selected period, not estimated from a total. That also holds for Sundays and daylight saving: the mapping follows your account's timezone.

What you can answer with them

The numbers answer three questions: how many guests open the menu, when they do it and how long they read. They do not identify people — no profiles, no cross-device recognition, no advertising IDs. That is exactly why the guest page needs no cookie banner and you collect no consents you do not need.

Compare menus instead of adding up an account

Because every menu has its own numbers, menus can be set against each other: lunch versus dinner, German versus English, before and after a price change. The data export hands out the same numbers as a table when you want to calculate further.

Common questions about this feature

No. menuQR counts views and sessions without identifying people. No marketing cookies are set and no profiles are built — which is why the guest page needs no cookie banner.
From the first view. Values are in the back office as soon as the menu page has been opened — the same day, with no nightly batch.
Yes, each menu has its own metrics and periods. A comparison is made by opening the menus one after another or laying the exports next to each other.
Not for the analytics: they are cookieless. Your back office itself only uses technically necessary cookies for sign-in.
