Upload your menu as a PDF: live in minutes

In short: You upload your existing menu as a PDF, and menuQR turns it into a public menu page and a QR code. No layout, no template, no design software: the menu stays the one you already have, with your prices, your allergen notes and your look. One file up to 25 MB, any number of pages. You can swap it whenever you want, and it takes seconds — the QR code stays the same.

What happens after the upload

The upload is the only step you do yourself. Everything after it is automatic: menuQR checks the file, creates the menu page under a readable path and generates the QR code. The path carries your restaurant name and the menu name, for example /menu/restaurant-name/lunch-menu, so the address still makes sense on a poster.

The menu page is reachable right away. You can print the code while the menu is still on the table — or look at it first and print later.

What you are spared

  • No design tool. The menu is displayed, not rebuilt.
  • No template. There is no grid your dishes have to fit into.
  • No structuring. Dishes, prices and allergens stay in the PDF — you enter nothing twice.
  • No appointment. Setup and support run online.

Which files work

PropertyLimitNote
FormatPDFRecognized by its first bytes — renamed images are rejected
Size25 MBEnough for multi-page menus with photos
PagesunlimitedGuests page through in the browser
ContentanythingPrices, allergens, footnotes — all stay as they are

If you have no PDF yet: Word, Excel and InDesign all export to PDF in one step. menuQR expects no particular structure.

Swap the menu instead of reprinting

The common case is not the first upload but the second: prices change, the daily menu rotates, a dish sells out. For that you simply upload the new PDF. The menu page shows the new version and the printed code stays valid. Details under QR code and updating a menu.

Common questions about this feature

No. menuQR shows your PDF as it is. You upload what is already hanging on your wall — no template, no design tool, no double maintenance.
Yes, by uploading a new PDF for the same menu. Address and QR code stay the same, and guests see the new version immediately.
Nothing is created: menuQR validates the file before storing it. An incomplete or foreign file produces an error, not a broken menu page.
